A Safe.Cab Campaign

Safer journeys for vulnerable children.

Drivers in SEND home-to-school transport already complete safeguarding training as part of their licence. Safe.Cab gives them what comes next: ongoing, route-relevant guidance and reporting tools through Omni, the Mobility Exchange app built for the licensed trade.

What Safe.Cab SEND is

Trained drivers, supported continuously.

Drivers in SEND home-to-school transport carry a particular kind of responsibility. The children they collect each morning may have non-verbal communication needs, medical conditions, sensory sensitivities, or behavioural patterns that shift day to day.

Statutory safeguarding training gives every licensed driver the foundation. But that foundation is delivered once, often years ago. Nothing nationally consistent provides ongoing operational guidance for the realities of the SEND route.

Safe.Cab fills that gap. Through Omni, accredited SEND drivers receive route-relevant updates on communication strategies, behavioural support, medical considerations, and escalation pathways. The training never goes stale.

How it works

Continuous guidance, direct to every driver's phone.
